Activities Chair – Judith Sipes has volunteered to take this position. Thank you very much, Judith! Next Meeting: Luncheon at Admiral Risty – December – Jane Copper will tell us about it!
Jane told us the meeting/luncheon will be Tuesday, December 9th, 11:30 am, at the Admiral Risty in Golden Cove (31250 Palos Verdes Drive West at Hawthorne Blvd.) She had a box of very cute invitations, with envelope to mail if we did not pick up at the meeting. Inside was a return envelope and a RSVP enclosure with menu choices, to be mailed back to Jane along with a check for $15 payable to Paletteers, by Dec. 4th. Don’t forget we have a gift exchange so bring a wrapped gift; many of us give needle work, small painting, or other artistic gift.
Kathryn Egli said she needs a few more for meeting refreshments. She will email us.
Exhibition – Take-In went very well and the paintings are on the wall. Many thanks to Rosemary Bandes, Sue Cutler, and Judy Sipes for a well organized take-in; Jim Morino and Trish McCoy for checking frames/wiring. The moving and hanging crew led by: Virginia Wyper, Betsey Amador, Karen and Michael Wickham. It looks fantastic!! Show cards are available now. Take some and distribute.
